Makes decisions and recommendations clearly linked to the organization’s finance and acquisition or strategy, engagement and evaluation strategy, while taking into account customer and client needs. 5. Is flexible and responds in a timely fashion to changing requirements, priorities, and short deadlines. HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS 1. Major system acquisition experience. 2. Serves as a resource to others regarding relevant regulations, guidelines, laws, and directives.
3. Source selection experience or knowledge. This position is considered an Acquisition Workforce (AWF) position under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Accordingly, the position's occupant must be certified with the appropriate DAWIA certification based on mission requirements for the position. If the selectee does not currently possess the required DAWIA certification upon entry into the position, selectee will be given 36 months to achieve certification.
