About this role

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NO-02 pay band (GS-5/10 grade level) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Performing pre-award and post-award functions utilizing demonstrated knowledge of the Acquisition Field as documented by DoD INST 5000.58; 2) Applying acquisition regulations, procedures, and policies (e.g., the Federal Acquisition Regulation and its Department of Defense supplement, OMB Circulars, and other relevant directives and instructions) to complete contract award tasks; 3) Providing cost/price analysis, negotiation, and administration of contracts for services, supplies, and equipment to complete pre-award and post-award contract administrative functions; and 4) Communicating effectively orally and in writing.

This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The selective placement factor is: You must have a comprehensive knowledge of procurement law, regulations, and procedures and the ability to conduct advanced planning, negotiation and administration of highly complex contracts involving R&D, specialized equipment and systems.
