About this role

For GS-13: Applicants must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-12, in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position successfully, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level.

Qualifying specialized experience includes meeting all of the following statements: Manage acquisition projects through the full contract lifecycle-from pre-solicitation and source selection to day-to-day contract administration; and Apply contract management principles to monitor contractor performance; and Communicate effectively, orally and in writing, to negotiate terms, lead meetings, prepare documentation, and brief diverse stakeholders.
