About this role

One year of experience in government contracting is required, along with (4) four years of progressive experience in contracting, construction, or a related occupational field or work area. Experience in construction contracting strongly preferred. Relevant education may be considered as a substitute for applicable experience where appropriate. Knowledge of and experience in applying federal, state and/or local contract laws, regulations and commercial business practices and procedures applicable to the acquisition for a variety of requirements is required.

NAF experience preferred. Experience writing, issuing, and administering government contracts of various types and methods. Knowledge of and experience in negotiation strategies in pre-award and post award phases of contracting. Knowledge of program objectives sufficient to identify sources, analyze financial data, review contract proposal, determine contractor responsibility and administer complex contract requirements.
