About this role

At the GS-15 level, you must meet the following qualification: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is in or directly related to the line of work of this position and has equipped you with the knowledge and competencies to successfully perform the duties of this position. More specifically, this requirement involves ALL of the following: Managing enterprise financial management activities for senior leadership and customer bureaus to ensure transparent funding decisions and effective resource planning.

Directing human capital and workforce learning initiatives for employees and senior executives to strengthen organizational capability and align workforce development with strategic priorities. Overseeing infrastructure and support services for multiple operational units to maintain safe, efficient, and mission-ready operational environments. Leading cross-functional teams for senior management to advance strategic objectives and coordinate enterprise-level initiatives across organizational lines.

TIME-IN-GRADE: Current career or career-conditional employees of the Federal government, or former career or career-conditional employees, who have a break in service of less than one year, are required to meet the time-in-grade restriction of one year of Federal experience at the next lower grade, with few exceptions outlined in 5 CFR 300.603(b).

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
