About this role

Five (5) years of executive-level experience demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of management principles in planning, coordinating, and achieving financial and operational objectives for a large, customer-oriented organization, with emphasis on sports or large-scale event management. Demonstrated ability to manage high-visibility, large-scale events. Expert knowledge of economic and financial management principles.

Broad knowledge of marketing, personnel management, retail operations, customer service, recreation programming, contract management, race permitting, and safety compliance. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of military command structure, missions, and organizational relationships preferred. Familiarity with Marine Corps Community Services operations is desirable. Bachelor¿s degree from an accredited institution in a related field is highly desirable and may substitute for a portion of required experience.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Tier 3 Secret Security Clearance. This white-collar position may require standing for extended periods and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.
