About this role

Specialized Experience - Applicants must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade, in the Federal service which includes: Experience working on projects that impact agency personnel management, employee/labor relations, administrative matters, regulatory fiscal decisions, and/or policy development.

Experience in planning, scheduling and conducting projects and studies to evaluate and recommend ways to improve work operations in a program or support setting. Experience reviewing and evaluating the overall impact of programs in the areas of budget, personnel and/or IT and preparing papers and organizing briefings to managers, which encourage understanding and acceptance of findings and recommendations. Specialized Experience is the experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform the duties of the position successfully, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled.

To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements of time-in-grade (52 weeks at the GS-12 grade level or equivalent in the Federal Service), time-after-competitive-appointment (90 days, if applicable), and minimum qualifications. These requirements must be met within 30 days of the announcement closing date, 08/13/2026, to be eligible for consideration.
