About this role

As a Development Engineer , you will play a key role within our Production Engineering Team , bringing your own ideas to life by developing new test systems and optimizing production processes. Together with our world-class team, currently consisting of 10 members, you will play a central role in pushing the boundaries of drone technology. You will work closely with stakeholders across Production and Development to take our manufacturing capabilities to the next level and enable our rapid growth.

By optimizing production processes and developing new testing solutions, you will support Quantum Systems in its mission to establish unmanned aerial systems (sUAVs) as the benchmark for aerial data collection solutions. What is your Day to Day Mission: Take ownership of the complete development cycle of test systems for drone components or complete systems — from initial concept and mechanical/electronic design through to implementation.

Develop and maintain automated test software in Python for production test systems. Develop and optimize test strategies to ensure production quality and reliability. Perform root-cause analyses of production issues. Act as the interface between our development departments and production .
