DevOps Engineer
About this role
About the role Own the platform that runs India's next-generation payment infrastructure. You'll architect, automate, and harden the rails — from CI/CD pipelines to production observability — so engineers can ship safely and the system stays up while it scales across 75 nations. What you'll do Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for fast, reliable releases. Provision and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform or similar IaC tools.
Run and scale containerized workloads on Kubernetes — clusters, networking, secrets, autoscaling. Build observability into everything: metrics, logs, traces, and alerting that catches issues before customers do. Lead incident response, run blameless post-mortems, and turn lessons into automation. Harden security across the platform — IAM, network policies, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, PCI-aligned controls.
Partner with engineering on cost, performance, and reliability budgets. What we're looking for 4+ years of hands-on DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering experience. Deep AWS knowledge — VPC, EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch. Strong infrastructure-as-code skills (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi). Production Kubernetes experience — Helm, operators, networking, scaling. CI/CD tooling proficiency (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD).
Comfortable scripting in Bash, Python, or Go. Solid Linux fundamentals and networking knowledge. Bias toward automation, documentation, and observability. Required stack AWS Terraform Kubernetes Docker CI/CD Linux Bash / Python Prometheus / Grafana Git Nice to have Fintech, payments, or PCI-DSS environment experience. Service-mesh exposure — Istio, Linkerd. Database operations — PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis at scale. Chaos engineering or load-testing experience.
Experience running multi-region or multi-cloud deployments.
