Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience: Degree with emphasis in marketing, communication, digital media, design, or related field is highly desired. Progressive or educational experience in social and digital media, online brand marketing, or community engagement in a professional capacity is also desired. Demonstrable experience with online monitoring and measurement platforms, social analytics tools, and an understanding of existing and emerging digital platforms, social media trends, and engagement strategies is required.

Familiarity with search visibility best practices, including management of online business listings (e.g., Google Business Profiles), is preferred. Education above the high school level in a related field may be substituted for progressive and demonstrable experience. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (or equivalent industry-standard design and editing software), project management software (e.g., Wrike, Asana, or similar), Content Management Systems such as WordPress, and Microsoft Office applications is required.

Experience with photography and video production is strongly preferred. Basic familiarity with HTML is helpful but not required. Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently. Condition(s) of Employment: Successful completion and favorable adjudication of a Tier 1 background investigation is required. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment drug test. This is a drug testing position.
