The GS-14 salary range starts at USD 143,913 per year. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience providing technical expertise, research, and advisory services for a full range of human resources functions to Presidential Boards, Commissions, and small or quasi-government agencies on positions that are highly unique in nature (i.e.

unusual occupational series, positions outside the General Schedule pay system, and high visibility to congressional offices, with many being established by specific Statutes or Public Laws.).
