About this role

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying principles, methods, and techniques of business and public administration to manage a large complex quality of life program area (Morale, Welfare and Recreation; Fleet and Family Support; Bachelor Housing; Family Housing; Galleys/General Messes; Galleys/General Messes, Navy Gateway Inns and Suites; and Navy Safe Harbor-Wounded Warrior Program, Support Services including Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) Finances, NAF Human Resources, NAF IT and Marketing ) 2) Developing, implementing and evaluating multi-command, multi-claimant programs 3) Resolving complex program management issues involving multiple stakeholders and requiring highly developed negotiation skills 4) Providing technical advice on resource allocation and related matters; and5) Taking management initiative and proposing changes to personnel distribution in order to maximize organizational effectiveness.
