Director – Global Business Services & Transformation Belvedere Recruitment Daily tasks: - Lead the design and implementation of Global Business Services and Shared Services operating models including organisational assessments, maturity reviews, benchmarking, and opportunity assessments - Develop business cases, target operating models, governance frameworks, and transformation roadmaps aligned to client strategic objectives - Advise clients on service delivery strategies, organisational design, process ownership models, and service management frameworks - Lead strategic sourcing assessments across Finance, HR, Procurement, IT, Analytics, and Customer Operations functions - Conduct location strategy assessments including offshore, nearshore, and onshore delivery options - Lead supplier market assessments, vendor selection activities, commercial evaluations, and due diligence processes - Manage RFP, RFI, and supplier evaluation programmes supporting commercial negotiations and contract development - Design retained organisation models and governance structures that maximise value from third-party providers - Establish vendor governance, supplier performance management, and strategic partner frameworks - Lead large-scale transformation programmes across multiple functions, business units, and geographies - Manage complex transitions involving Shared Services, GBS, outsourcing, and operating model redesign - Establish governance, risk management, reporting, and benefits realisation frameworks - Lead Transformation Management Offices and programme governance structures - Build trusted advisor relationships with C-suite executives and senior business leaders - Facilitate executive workshops, steering committees, and strategic decision-making sessions - Identify and develop consulting opportunities within existing and prospective client organisations - Lead proposal development, solution design, and client presentations - Support account growth and strategic relationship development - Mentor and develop consultants and programme leaders across the practice Musts: Consulting, Sourcing, Shared Services, GBS, Finance, HR Requirements 15+ years of experience within consulting, business transformation, outsourcing, shared services, or GBS environments.

Proven track record delivering complex transformation, sourcing, and transition programmes. Experience designing and implementing Shared Services, GBS, outsourcing, or hybrid operating models. Strong understanding of Finance, HR, Procurement, IT, Operations, or Enterprise Services functions. Experience supporting sourcing strategy, supplier selection, commercial negotiations, and governance model design. Demonstrated success managing executive stakeholders and board-level sponsors.

Experience leading multi-country and cross-functional programmes and teams. Strong commercial awareness with experience supporting business development and consulting sales activities. Strategic thinking with strong commercial acumen. Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills. Strong programme leadership and delivery capability. Collaborative leadership style with a focus on client outcomes. Results-oriented with a passion for transformation and continuous improvement.

Ability to operate effectively in complex, ambiguous, and rapidly changing environments. Professional qualifications such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA, MBA, Prince2, PMP, or Lean Six Sigma are advantageous. Position Overview As Director of Global Business Services and Transformation, you'll lead strategic consulting engagements with executive leadership teams, combining deep expertise in Global Business Services, Shared Services, Sourcing Advisory, Outsourcing Strategy, and Enterprise Transformation. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll act as a trusted advisor helping organisations design and implement operating models, develop sourcing strategies, and deliver large-scale transformation programmes.

This role plays a key part in shaping the practice's growth and market presence, blending client delivery with business development and team leadership. Location : Poland Contract Type: Permanent Lead strategic consulting engagements advising C-suite executives on Global Business Services, Shared Services, and sourcing strategy across major organisations. Shape the growth of a specialist business transformation practice whilst building trusted advisor relationships with senior stakeholders.

Deliver complex transformation programmes spanning multiple functions, geographies, and business units from strategy through to benefits realisation. Mentor and develop consulting teams whilst contributing to thought leadership and market insights within the sector.
