ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN
About this role
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience developing, scheduling, coordinating, and managing projects and resources including monitoring and inspecting costs, work, and contractor performances.
Experience applying the latest advancements and developments in electronic theories and practices to troubleshoot technical problems that aren't readily remedied by traditional methods. Experience coordinating innovative, unusual, or routine shipboard electronic installations, maintenance and sustainment activities. Experience devising methods and procedures for electronic system troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
Experience researching, developing, and evaluating effectiveness and technical adequacy of work items and proposals for resolving complicated and critical electronic problems. Experience using life cycle support functions for corrective or preventative maintenance of electronic communication systems. Experience inspecting and evaluating shipboard communication systems to access reliability, operation, readiness, and safety.
