About this role

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 pay band (GS-12/GS-13 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer managing complex, high-consequence technical projects in submarine hydrodynamics, maneuvering, and control throughout the complete project lifecycle-including defining scope, developing technical requirements, coordinating cross-functional engineering resources, and directing execution.

Served as the principal strategic liaison and lead across the enterprise, fostering alignment and collaboration among diverse stakeholders. Proven track record of authoring and presenting detailed technical reports, engineering proposals, and executive briefings on submarine maneuverability to high-level audiences-including internal and external collaborators, sponsors, Technical Authority, senior leadership, and Flag Officers-to explain complex engineering findings, recommend strategic courses of action, and secure critical approvals for major design and engineering initiatives.
