You are eligible for this training opportunity if you are currently a permanent GS-0802-11 or GS-0802-12, Engineering Technician in UIC 42158 and meet the education requirements described below. This announcement has been amended as follows: Upon successful completion of this training opportunity, you will be eligible to compete for an engineer position in one of the following series: GS-0801 General Engineer, GS-0830 Mechanical Engineer, GS-0840 Nuclear Engineer, GS-0850 Electrical Engineer, GS-0855 Electronics Engineer, and GS-0871 Naval Architecture.
