About this role
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Requires one full year of specialized experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-9) in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.
Specialized experience includes: Demonstrated knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures governing workplace programs, with experience interpreting and applying regulatory guidance to complex situations. Experience managing or supporting compliance, investigations, program analysis, reporting, or related operational activities. Skilled in identifying organizational challenges, analyzing data and trends, and developing practical, actionable solutions to improve program effectiveness and support organizational objectives.
Experience applying human resources or related principles in a professional setting. Demonstrates strong research, analytical, problem-solving, regulatory interpretation, and written and oral communication skills, including the ability to advise managers and stakeholders on complex issues. OR SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED): Successfully completed a Ph.D.
or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, or LL.M., if related. OR COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED): Equivalent combinations of successfully completed graduate-level education (in excess of 2 years) and specialized experience as described above may be used to meet total qualification requirements.
