FACILITY OPERATIONS SPECIALIST
About this role
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band (DA-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Performing routine facility maintenance, operations, and repair tasks across multiple trades, including plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and basic electrical or HVAC troubleshooting; 2) Conducting routine facility inspections to identify necessary repairs, health, and safety issues, while maintaining accurate maintenance logs; 3) Identifying and analyzing facility requirements to develop plans for space allocation, modification, replacement, or new construction in support of organizational missions; and 4) Preparing basic work requests, serving as a project technical liaison, and coordinating service actions with external providers to ensure the successful execution of facility sustainment and improvement programs.
