FACILITY OPERATIONS SPECIALIST
About this role
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Preparing documents associated with service calls, work requests, project development, and construction oversight to provide monthly status briefings to leadership; 2) Making recommendations utilizing sound engineering and estimating judgment in decisions when confronted with technical problems associated with ongoing projects to determine and execute the appropriate actions when dealing with possible conflicts created between project/work requirements and mission requirements; 3) Utilizing personal computers, office software applications, and other management information systems in order to perform word processing, prepare spreadsheets, charts & graphs, develop databases, track projects, and create reports; and, 4) Analyzing procedures, regulations and policies related to the Purchase Card Program and commercial sources and common business practices to prepare Purchase Requests for material supplies and services needed for local facilities.
