In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below. https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/0500/financial-administration-and-program-series-0501/ You may qualify at the NH-4 (GS 14/15) level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-3 (GS-13) grade level in the Federal service (experience may have been gained in the private sector) that demonstrates your ability in: Applying expertise in ensuring compliance with federal financial regulations and standards which involve conducting regular audits, both internal and external, to ensure that all financial operations are transparent and in line with legal requirements.

Applying expertise in policies, processes, procedures, and regulations governing budgetary, financial, and contract processes. Applying expertise in program evaluation factors and techniques to assess program accomplishments and to identify resource and programmatic requirements. Applying mastery of identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial risks. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
