About this role
AREA OF CONSIDERATION: Nationwide - Open to all US Citizens SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 1 year equivalent to next lower-level grade, experiences gained through technical training schools are included in the one-year on-the-job experience. Must have fundamental working experiences with a validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the occupational series and grade. The applicant's educational degree study program or military or civilian academic courses may substitute for some specialized experience.
Applicants who have the 1 year of appropriate specialized experience in collecting and analyzing data effectively, efficiently, and accurately; in applying procedures and directives by reading and interpreting program material; in presenting formal training presentations and briefings; and the ability to prepare reports and presentation formats. The applicant's educational degree study program or military or civilian academic courses may substitute for some specialized experience.
OR Education: Must possess a Master's or equivalent Graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree. The awarded college degree should be in one of, or a combination of the following disciplines: accounting, business, finance, economics, math, statistics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organizational management. OR Combination: A combination of Specialized Experience and Education as described above.
Only graduate education in excess of 1 full year of graduate level education may be used when combining education and experience to meet the total qualification requirements. PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of months/years. VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social).
Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
