About this role
To qualify for pay band 4A applicants must meet the following: Qualifying experience for Pay Band 4A includes one year of specialized experience (comparable to the Pay Band 4B or GS-12 or equivalent non-federal experience), which is directly related to the work of this position, and which has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. For this position, examples of specialized experience are: providing financial support which includes the budgeting and execution of funding; reviewing financial and budgetary data, records, reports and statements; providing advice, consultation, and assistance to staff, management, and others on financial matters; applying directives related to appropriations and fund usage, Federal appropriations and budget process; monitoring and tracking funds and preparing spreadsheets; and developing, writing, and reviewing documentation, procedural guidance, and process manuals on financial matters.
Note: this experience MUST be well documented within your resume or application. Time-in-Grade: Time-in-grade requirements apply. Applicants must have one year of Federal service equivalent to Pay Band 4B or GS-12 to be eligible for Pay Band 4A.
