About this role

Military Grades: O-4 through O-5 You must indicate your rank somewhere on your resume. Compatible Military Assignments: For Dual-Status Technician positions service affiliation under Title 32 USC 709 is required. Military skill set is determined by AFSC/MOS requirements. Upon selection, individuals must be assigned to a compatible military AFSC/MOS in accordance with statutes and National Guard Bureau regulations and must obtain/maintain all requirements of the AFSC/MOS.

ARNG Officer - Branch 36A, Financial Manager, and Branch 01A, Immaterial (excludes JAGs or Chaplains). ANG Officer - AFSC 65FX, Financial Management, and AFSC 65WX, Cost Analysis. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Ability to develop, apply, and adjust financial plans and policies to attain agency objectives; Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, not only with subordinate staff, but with all levels of key management officials, the latter particularly requiring the exercise of tact, ingenuity, and resourcefulness; Ability to apply a high level of sound and independent judgment in the solution of financial problems and in the administration of a financial management program; A broad knowledge of and ability to utilize principles, methods, techniques, and systems of financial management; Ability to clearly enunciate English without impediment of speech that would interfere or prohibit effective communication.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have 1-year equivalent specialized experience to at least the next lower grade level before being eligible for the next grade level. Must have fundamental working experiences with a validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the financial management occupational series and grade.
