Specialized Experience: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience (equivalent to the GS-12 level) that demonstrates the statements below: Researched, analyzed, and resolved inconsistencies in internal financial reports to ensure accuracy and alignment with program requirements; Conducted in-depth analyses of financial transactions to identify issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions; Ensured the reasonableness, reliability, and accuracy of financial data through comprehensive review and verification practices; Interpreted complex and ambiguous financial management and accounting guidelines, applying advanced technical judgment to resolve issues; Assessed the implications of adopting financial proposals and policy changes, providing recommendations based on sound financial analysis; Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
