FINANCIAL TECHNICIAN

About this role

Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.

Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by: GG07 -Experience executing funding documents for budgeted direct and reimbursable programs. -Experience accepting, certifying and validating invoices in a Wide Area Workflow. -Experience consolidating and reconciling information in support of time-critical data calls and projects.

-Experience performing obligation validation review on current and prior year execution. This position is within the Work Category TECHNICIAN & ADMIN SUPPORT at Work Level FULL PERFORMANCE, Series and Grade GG-0503-07. GG08 -Experience formulating budget and estimates to support plans, programs and activities. -Experience reviewing and evaluating budget requests, control and reporting of obligations and expenditures. -Experience researching guides to locate accounting, budgetary and financial information to prepare summaries for use by higher authority.

-Experience preparing budget estimates, financial reviews for programs. This position is within the Work Category TECHNICIAN & ADMIN SUPPORT at Work Level FULL PERFORMANCE, Series and Grade GG-0503-08.
