About the Role We are looking for an experience Fire Alarm Service and Maintenance Engineer to join us on a permanent basis to support with scheduled upgrades, installs and repairs on fire alarm systems for our prestigious clients in and around the London area. The ideal person will have a flexible approach to work, who can, on occasion, participate in an out of hours call out rota. A full UK Driving License is required along with previous Fire Alarm Experience and knowledge of analogue addressable and conventional fire alarm systems.

Responsibilities Pursue ‘Great, not Good’ in fire safety services Be accountable for the quality system as well as providing excellent customer service Service, maintain and install fire alarm systems (BS5839-1) in accordance with the relevant British Standards Accurately complete engineer service reports Report deficiencies or deviations in fire systems Conduct regular van stock checks and liaise with the procurement department to keep replenished and appropriately stocked Have a Health & Safety mindset, looking at possible risks associated with the role and reporting any issues promptly Complete a first fix where possible Qualifications FIA training (or equivalent required) to BS5839-1 Fundamentals.

Required Skills A full UK Driving License Previous Fire Alarm Experience Knowledge of analogue addressable and conventional fire alarm systems Understanding of BS5839 Good level of IT literacy Good communication skills both verbal and written Understanding of Health and Safety Regulations Commitment to high professional ethical standards Collaborative working skills Preferred Skills Fire service experience Pay range and compensation package The role is full-time, and we are offering a competitive salary.

This position will be based in the London Area with travel required to attend different sites. A full UK Driving License will be essential, and a company vehicle and fuel card will be provided.
