About this role

ABOUT THE ROLE This is a hands-on, end-to-end technical delivery role at a pre-seed AI fintech startup building automation tooling for private market operations. You'll work directly with asset servicers and asset managers to translate their real workflows into production-grade AI-driven deployments — and feed everything you learn back into the core product. It's a high-ownership position on a small, senior founding team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO - Own the full project lifecycle from initial discovery with customer operations teams through to production launch. - Collaborate directly with customer teams to map existing workflows and surface adoption barriers. - Convert client processes into AI-driven workflows on the platform, including fund accounting agents and reconciliation pipelines. - Build customer-tailored prototypes with rapid iteration, adjusting scope based on what you learn in the field.

- Translate deployment insights into concrete product development feedback and roadmap input. - Develop reusable components and standardised approaches from recurring implementation patterns. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 1–6 years of experience in software engineering, forward deployment, or a closely related technical role. - Hands-on proficiency with TypeScript, NestJS, Postgres, Prisma, Inngest, React, TanStack, and Tailwind.

- Comfort working across the full stack and owning technical delivery independently. - Strong communication skills — able to lead workflow discovery sessions with non-technical operations stakeholders. - Background in or strong interest in fintech, private markets, fund accounting, or enterprise workflow automation is a plus. - Experience at a high-calibre software company or in a customer-facing engineering role is valued.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS - Salary: €70,000 – €110,000 per year - Visa sponsorship: available LOCATION On-site in Berlin, Germany.
