About this role

A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower NNSA pay band level or GS grade level in the Federal Service, i.e.. NN-04, GS-14. Specialized experience for this position is defined as comprehensive knowledge of a complex industrial facility in areas such as security, environmental, safety and health, occupational safety and health, manufacturing, quality control, budgetary and funding systems, and management of line item projects.

Examples of specialized experience includes the following: 1. Provides oversight as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) in the contractor executed planning, development, and execution of the acquisition, maintenance, and disposition of real and personal property. 2. Provides knowledge of the principles, methods, or tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, and managing projects and resources, as required for proper oversight of contractor work, including monitoring and inspecting costs, work, and performance.

3. Provides coordination of program reviews, problem resolution, guidance, and procedures for prosecution of facilities programs. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations.
