About this role

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band (NP-03) or GS equivalent (GS-11/13) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Utilizing knowledge of the performance of and/or management of science and technology implementation in Naval platforms (weapons and/or aircraft and/or unmanned vehicles and/or small craft and/or surface ships and/or submarines); 2) Working with Low Observable/Counter Low Observable (LO/CLO) community, signature reduction or control, naval architecture, RCS prediction techniques, and/or electromagnetic theory; 3) Leading complex systems development and/or the management of large-scale research and development programs, especially those involving new and emerging technologies; and 4) Utilizing experience in planning, programming, contracting, budgeting, evaluation and analysis of research and development.
