To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Candidates for the GS-14 grade level must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as the following: Program and Project Management: Manages program of projects to include significant phases of projects supporting major jurisdiction-wide renovations and construction.

Plans, guides, and coordinates the work of subordinate and matrixed resources engaged in accomplishing project objectives. Communication and Reporting: Proficiency in speaking and writing skills. Leads, coordinates, and facilitates monthly meetings with Jurisdiction leadership representatives and agency SMEs where project status, issues, lessons learned, and concerns are discussed. Organizes additional meetings with the assigned jurisdiction regarding project status, planning, budget, etc., as needed.

Technical Guidance: Conducts studies to develop standards for projects and to address situations encountered during field inspections. Provides guidance, technical advice, and consultation to jurisdiction leadership, specialists within the Office of Chief Engineer and lower-grade employees in the performance of related assignments.
