About this role
Minimum Qualification Requirements You may meet the minimum qualifications for the GS-13, if you possess the specialize experience. Specialized Experience for the GS-13 One year of experience in either federal or non-federal service that is equivalent to at least a GS-12 performing two (2) out of three (3) of the following duties or work assignments: 1.Experience reviewing and analyzing incoming FOIA/PA requests, which includes determining search parameters, responding to public inquiries by providing guidance on the various statues; and researching, analyzing, and evaluating data for response to information requests.
2.Experience performing technical and administrative duties and responsibilities involved with collecting and analyzing electronically stored information relevant to requests received or for use in litigation. 3.Experience making determinations about disclosure and access to Federal agency records, and providing guidance relating to the collection; use and dissemination of government information and the maintenance and management of Government records.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) The quality of your experience will be measured by the extent to which you possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs). 1. Knowledge of the body of laws, regulations, precedents, policies and principals to assess compliance with Federal government information. 2. Skill in applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques in developing of new procedures and approaches to identify and resolve significant issues. 3. Ability to research, analyze, and evaluate data for responses to Federal government information.
