About this role

For the GS-13 : You must have have at least one year (52 weeks, full-time) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service (or comparable level of experience from outside the Federal service) performing ALL the following duties: Applying Federal human resources laws, regulations, policies, and best practices to provide guidance or develop solutions for HR programs or HR technology initiatives; Providing strategic consultation to customers, leadership, or stakeholders on Federal HR programs, business processes, or HR technology solutions; Delivering training or presentations on Federal HR programs, HR technology systems, or related business processes; Analyzing business requirements to recommend process improvements or system enhancements.

For the GS-12: You must have have at least one year (52 weeks, full-time) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service (or comparable level of experience from outside the Federal service) performing ALL the following duties: Applying Federal human resources laws, regulations, policies, or business practices to support HR programs or HR technology initiatives; Providing customer service or technical guidance to customers or stakeholders regarding HR programs, business processes, or HR technology systems; Delivering training, presentations, or user guidance related to Federal HR programs or HR technology systems; Documenting business requirements or customer needs to support process improvements or system enhancements.

Merit promotion applicants must meet the time-in-grade requirement as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. One year at the GS-12 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-13 level. One year at the GS-11 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-12 level. You must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
