About this role

You must meet the following requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the next lower level in the Federal service. To qualify for the NB-IV level, you must have specialized experience equivalent to the next lower level, NB-III or GS-7 grade level. The experience may have been gained in either the public or private sector.

One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Examples of specialized experience for this position includes: Providing human resources support and advice to coworkers, employees, and public; AND Coding and processing personnel actions to include determining legal authorities and nature of action codes (such as awards, reassignments, promotions, etc.), and completing various forms and documentation (such as employment verification, separation packages, records requests, and providing information on SF-1150s, etc.); AND Preparing and reviewing human resources paperwork, ensuring completeness and accuracy; AND Using HR computer systems such as eOPF, USA Staffing, NFC and HRConnect.

The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector, or through volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
