GS-12 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-11 in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting 2 of Total 3 of the following: Providing advice and recommendations to management and employees on complex position classification matters, including resolving classification discrepancies or appeals.
Developing and writing clear, concise, and defensible position descriptions that accurately reflect duties, responsibilities, and supervisory relationships. Utilizing analytical and problem-solving skills to research, interpret, and apply classification standards to a variety of positions. GS-13 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-12 in the Federal service.
Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting 2 of Total 3 of the following: Classifying a variety of positions across different occupational series and grades to ensure strict alignment with legal and regulatory position-grading standards. Administering policy to standardize personnel evaluation techniques, supporting the organization's consistent execution of merit system principles. Advising management on position design and classification impact to clarify civil service rules and grading frameworks, supporting hiring managers in designing efficient, legally compliant workforce structures.
