About this role
You must meet all eligibility and qualifications requirements by the closing date of the job announcement. To qualify for the NQ-2 level, you must possess: A Master's or equivalent graduate degree; Two (2) full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.B or J.D., if related. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcripts. OR One year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower NNSA Demonstration Project pay band or GS grade level in the Federal service (i.e.
NQ-1 or GS-7).Specialized experience is experience interpreting and applying Federal regulations and guidelines to administer employee benefit programs, processing benefit transactions, calculating service computation dates, and advising employees on benefits programs. OR A combination of education and experience that when combined meet 100% of the requirements. Note: You must submit a copy of your transcripts. Time-in-Grade/Band: Current Federal employees must have completed 52 weeks in a position equivalent to the next lower band (NQ-1) or GS-7.
CTAP/ICTAP candidates: CTAP and ICTAP candidates will be eligible for selection priority if it is determined that they have exceeded the minimum qualifications for the position by attaining at least a "well qualified" rating of 85 out of 100.
