Specialized Experience Specialized experience is the experience that has equipped you with the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To qualify at the CU-13 grade level, you must have at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the CU/GS-12 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors).
Specialized experience is defined as experience in all of the following: 1.) Providing the full range of operational federal civilian recruitment and staffing including: developing job analyses, drafting vacancy announcements, conducting qualification analysis; AND 2.) Performing classification to include writing position descriptions and advising management in the development of position descriptions; AND 3.) Conducting training related to staffing and classification topics.
To qualify at the CU-12 grade level, you must have at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the CU/GS-11 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors). Specialized experience is defined as experience in all of the following: 1.) Providing the full range of operational federal civilian recruitment and staffing including: developing job analyses, drafting vacancy announcements, conducting qualification analysis; AND 2.) assisting in the classification process to include assisting managers in developing position descriptions and in the evaluation or analysis of positions to determine appropriate grade, occupational series and position title.
Selective Placement Factor: This position requires Delegated Examining (DE) Certification. To be considered, applicants must currently hold an active DE Certification and a copy of your DE Certification MUST be submitted at the time of application.
