MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the required basic requirement and specialized experience for the respective grade level in which you are applying: Basic Requirement: 1) Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work or data and reviews own work to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency with standards. 2) Customer Service - Developing and maintaining relationships with customers, anticipating and assessing the current and future information technology needs of customers, and developing or identifying information technology products or services that are tailored to meet customer needs.
3) Interpersonal Skills - Shows understanding, friendliness, courtesy, tact, empathy, concern, and politeness to others; develops and maintains effective relationships with others; may include effectively dealing with individuals who are difficult, hostile, or distressed; relates well to people from varied backgrounds and different situations. 4) Reasoning - Identifies rules, principles, or relationships that explain facts, data, or other information; analyses information and makes correct inferences or draws accurate conclusions.
5) Teamwork - Encourages and facilitates cooperation, pride, trust, and group identity; fosters commitment and team spirit; works with others to achieve goals. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.
Such experience is typically gained in the IT field or through the performance of work where the primary concern is IT. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the required specialized experience and/or education for the respective grade level in which you are applying: To qualify at the GS-09 level, you must possess: Specialized Experience: At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level in the Federal service performing (obtained in either the public or private sectors) (3) of the (5) duties listed below: Assisting with development, planning, or coordination of litigation support services including trial preparation and presentations in response to customer needs using eDiscovery software; Planning or scheduling the installation of new or modified litigation supporting hardware and software to ensure seamless installation, minimize installation problems and downtime; Controlling or maintaining the office's equipment inventory and managing network accounts.
Troubleshooting and maintaining customer hardware and software to optimize system performance and identify components for improvements; Utilizing review platforms such as Everlaw, and other similar platforms to load discovery materials. TIME-IN-GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-07 is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-09 level. You must submit your SF-50 that shows Time-in-Grade eligibility and reflects your title, series, and grade. No award SF-50 will be accepted; recommended SF-50s include promotions and step increases (within grade increases).
