Information Technology Specialist (Applications Software)
About this role
GS-07: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting with developing, maintaining, or testing enterprise software applications using programming languages and application development tools; developing or modifying web-based user interfaces; and supporting the integration of applications with databases or application programming interfaces (APIs).
GS-09: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing, maintaining, and testing enterprise software applications using programming languages and application frameworks; developing and modifying web-based user interfaces; and integrating applications with relational databases and application programming interfaces (APIs).
In addition, you must demonstrate the following competencies: Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
