INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC)
About this role
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the federal service, or equivalent experience in the private or public sector, performing duties such as: 1) Managing the implementation of a Department of Defense (DoD), Department of the Navy (DON), or similar private and/or public sector Cybersecurity Program in accordance with cybersecurity policies, standards, and Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements; 2) Leading continuous monitoring, vulnerability management, security assessments, incident response activities, and risk mitigation efforts to maintain the security and authorization of enterprise information systems; 3) Developing, implementing, and evaluating cybersecurity policies, procedures, and security controls while providing technical guidance and recommendations to leadership on cybersecurity risk and compliance; and 4) Leading or managing cybersecurity projects and initiatives by coordinating stakeholders, establishing priorities, resolving technical or programmatic issues, and ensuring successful execution of organizational cybersecurity objectives.

Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
