About this role

To qualify for the position of Information Technology Specialist (Product Owner), at GS-2210-14, you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below. Basic Qualifications (2210 series): Please refer to the OPM IT Management Series 2210 Qualification Standard for the specific experience requirements for the GS-12 and above positions. AND Specialized Experience: To qualify for the GS-14 grade level, you must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable non-Federal experience.

Specialized experience is defined as experience performing the following duties: Defining and communicating a clear product vision and roadmap to drive the development of IT application systems. Managing a technical product backlog and translating user needs into actionable work items for Agile software development teams. Coordinating cross-functional IT dependencies; and providing technical guidance to IT leadership on product strategy, cloud architectures, or the impact of technology investments.
