Inspection Scheduling Team Leader

About this role

In order to qualify for this position, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as: Experience with NRC regulations, policy, procedures, standards and practices that relate to the administration and implementation of the inspection, licensing, and performance assessment programs for reactor facilities.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Knowledge of the NRC's Reactor Oversight Process (ROP) as applied to implementation of the inspection and assessment requirements and self-assessment process. Knowledge of inspection planning principles and the Reactor Programs Systems (RPS) inspection module to ensure consistency in data format and content, optimize inspection schedules and ensure timely completion of inspections.

Ability to communicate effectively across headquarters and regional personnel, both orally and in writing, as demonstrated by oral and written communications what are well organized, clear, and grammatically correct. Ability to supervise, mentor, and lead staff or teams in technical and regulatory environments.
