Intelligence Specialist
About this role
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Serves as an intelligence specialist providing technical advice on a wide range of complex analysis, evaluation, collection, interpretation, or dissemination of information and/or products relative to an assigned area(s).
2) Collect, analyze, interpret, evaluate and integrate complex data from multiple sources in assessing the relevance and significance of developments in assigned area(s), and in preparing new or revising prior intelligence products. 3) Identifies intelligence gaps, specifies collection requirements to fill gaps, and develops analytical tools and methodologies to cope with the gaps. 4) Maintain liaison with personnel in other intelligence agencies, laboratories, services, and allied foreign governments to discuss production requirements and provide information.
5) Presents and defends activity positions or issues in area(s) of expertise. 6) As required, serve as team leader for assigned area(s). Coordinates the work of the team, establish priorities, guide team members and is responsible for accuracy and completeness of the team products. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
