You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: Specialized Experience: GS-11: One year of specialized experience which includes at least 3 of the following: 1. Participating in teams to develop plans for several long and short-range projects including plan formulation, environmental compliance, etc. OR 2. Assisting in the application of standard or risk-based principles, to evaluate solutions to project issues as they may arise; OR 3.

Gathering and analyzing data from single or multiple sources in support of project reports, presentations and or studies; OR 4. Assisting in the collection of project information in coordination with internal teams, stakeholders, or non-Federal representatives. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). GS-12: One year of specialized experience which includes at least 3 of the following: 1.

Leading or independently directing multidisciplinary teams in the formulation of complex planning studies for water resources, civil works, or environmental projects; 2. Applying advanced planning principles to negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to develop, and recommend optimal, or economically justified project alternatives; 3. Analyzing complex data to produce comprehensive reports, read-aheads and other materials highlighting project impacts; 4.

Managing project coordination, and presenting status updates, incident and or other reports, leadership. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Leadership Planning and Evaluating Problem Solving Research Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent.

For the GS-11 you must have 52 weeks at the GS-09 level. For the GS-12 you must have 52 weeks at the GS-11 level. Qualification requirement: Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
