INTERDISCIPLINARY ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER/BIOLOGICAL SCIENTIST/PHYSICAL SCIENTIST

About this role

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of SPECIALIZED experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Coordinates resource requirements of the Environmental Business Line with the operations of other business/support lines, Public Works departments, Command components and installations; 2) Interprets environmental laws, regulations, instructions and policies and evaluate the effect they will have on the organization; 3) Provides advice and communicates with field activities and other stakeholders to ensure awareness of standards, criteria and requirements regarding issues such as resolution of spill response and cleanup, insuring uniformity of spill cleanup and response efforts and; 4) Maintains communication with environmental regulatory agencies, contractors, installations, and higher or lower levels of authority to ensure compliance with environmental spill response regulations.
