About this role

This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The selective placement factor is: You must currently be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or a Registered Architect (RA). Your license or registration must be held in any State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your current license or registration with your application package.

A copy of a wall certificate that does not have an expiration date will not serve to verify this requirement. In addition to the SPF and the Basic Education Requirements, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing proposals to identify the necessary construction and repair projects; 2) Reviewing, evaluating, and retaining significant information and recommendations in succinct, graphic, tabular, and narrative form; 3) Developing and drafting narrative appendices supplementing basic operations plans, including detailed descriptive information on existing facility availability and location information; 4) Preparing briefs for various audiences of Contingency Planning.
