About this role

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-13) grade level or pay band (DP-04) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing a wide area of avionics systems on an aviation platform, including leading, mentoring, and guiding engineers supporting these systems; 2) Leading and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and ensuring technical alignment across multiple organizational units to manage project schedule, cost, and performance; 3) Overseeing system architecture, leading formal design reviews, and managing the development, documentation, traceability, and verification planning of system and subsystem requirements; 4) Review and developing Statement of Works (SOWs), conducting detailed Technical Evaluations and source selection activities as applicable, and reviewing of Contract Data Requirements List submittals; and 5) Directing certification processes to ensure advanced systems meet airworthiness, spectrum, and security/cybersecurity requirements while proactively mitigating risk to prevent fielding delays.
