Inventory Management Specialist
About this role
To qualify at the GS-09 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 grade level in the federal or private sector. Specialized experience may include: 1) experience determining and maintaining inventory stock levels; 2) experience establishing and procuring new supply items; 3) experience evaluating repair and procurement requirements; 4) experience planning and monitoring inventory management activities; 5) experience coordinating the return, repair, and tracking of reparable or mandatory turn-in materials.
OR Completion of 1 full year of graduate level education, and a bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement. OR Combination of Experience and Education: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. NOTE: Education can be substituted for experience at the GS-09 grade level. To qualify at the GS-07 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-05 grade level in the federal or private sector.
Specialized experience may include: 1) experience assisting with maintaining inventory stock levels; 2) experience processing procurement actions; 3) experience reviewing supply and repair requests; 4) experience maintaining inventory and supply records; 5) experience coordinating the return and repair of reparable or mandatory turn-in materials. OR 4-year bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement. OR Combination of Experience and Education: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
