INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST
About this role
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: receiving, processing, and monitoring supply requisitions and inventory using automated accounting or logistics systems (such as the Ordnance Information System - OIS); planning, allocating, or coordinating warehouse and storage space, ensuring compliance with compatibility and safety regulations (especially concerning hazardous materials or explosives); assisting with or preparing load plans, shipping documentation, and determining efficient freight routing and classification; and applying governing logistics policies, supply chain regulations, and safety/security protocols to maintain inventory accountability.
