About this role
To qualify for the Recent Graduates Program you must apply within two (2) years of having obtained a qualifying degree or certificate beyond the high school level from a qualifying educational institution. Exception to the 2 year application eligibility requirement: A veteran who, due to a military service obligation, was precluded from applying during any portion of the two-year eligibility period, will have a full two-year period of eligibility upon his/her release or discharge from active duty.
In no case, however, may the eligibility period extend beyond six years from the date on which the individual completed the requirements of an academic course of study. Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement. In addition to the qualifications that must be met for the Recent Graduates Program: To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess 3 years of general experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least a GS-4 that demonstrates the ability to: Analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; Plan and organize work; and Communicate effectively OR 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree.
If the Agency decides to interview any qualified employee on the selection list, then all on the list who are qualified must be interviewed. If the selection list is shortened to a best qualified list through a comparative process, then the best qualified list shall be considered to be the selection list.
