In Global IT, we have spent the past five years building and maturing a product-driven organization. We operate with a strong focus on product management and lifecycle thinking, where long-lived teams take full ownership- from problem discovery to solution delivery and continuous improvement - ensuring we address real business needs.
Our structure combines clear leadership intent with empowered teams: each team member is supported by both a People Leader focused on development and a Functional Leader guiding strategy and delivery. We foster autonomy and self-organization to enable fast flow, clear accountability, and minimal dependencies. The Clinical domain currently consists of three product teams, supporting our Clinical Operations, Clinical Development, Biometrics, Clinical Data Management and Clinical Trial Supply functions.
We are seeking a passionate IT Product Owner to join our growing team. As a key member of the Global IT team, you will play a crucial role in digitalizing our biometrics and clinical development functions. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with cross-functional, global teams working together to achieve extraordinary results. You will report to Jakob Monajemzadeh Thrane, People Leader in Global IT, and to Ivanna Rosendal, Global Head of Digitalization, from a functional point of view.
You will be based in HQ in Hellerup, Denmark. Your key responsibilities will be: Ensuring that the statistical programmers, biostatisticians and clinical scientists have a coherent technology offering across applications, tools and data that evolves with their needs Communicate closely and frequently with our users and clinical leadership to ensure clear understanding of what is most important for our clinical development and biometrics areas – and translate what that means for the Biometrics IT team Prioritize and manage the Biometrics IT team’s backlog and participate actively in removing impediments for technology delivery Ensure close collaboration with other teams in our IT department to manage dependencies and align on priorities Qualifications and Skills: You hold a relevant academic degree – minimum a master’s degree – and 5+ years of experience from a related role in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology or related environment.
Furthermore, you have : A background that allows you to understand clinical development and statistical analysis Hands-on experience with managing and developing a technology product portfolio Experience with product discovery and decision facilitation Experience in driving the successful delivery of digital products and platforms You have been working in an agile team, relentlessly improving your working practices. Key competencies: You are a strong team player, innovative and curious, and have a can-do attitude.
